Louis waves to Roxy, says he'll be back in an hour
Locks her in and heads out to the bars down in the town
Seven hours later she's still lying alone in bed
While he spends all their money playing poker with his friends

There's lipstick on his collar, there's whiskey on his breath
He stumbles to the bedroom and he lights a cigarette
Reaches out to touch her but he finds she isn't there
Instead she finds a note from her that says she's run away

He finds her by the highway, she's trying to hitch a ride
He puts his hands around her throat there's hatred in his eyes
She begs for him to let her go, he screams he wants her dead
She pulls a knife out from her boot and stabs him in the neck
